Airblue Lost Luggage — How to File a Claim & Get Your Bags Back
Lost your bag on Airblue? Complete guide to filing a claim, Airblue's baggage policies for domestic and international (UAE/Saudi) flights, contact numbers, and recovery tips.
Airblue: Pakistan's Largest Private Airline
Airblue operates extensive domestic routes (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot) and international routes to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Muscat. Because many Airblue routes transit through Gulf airports, lost luggage scenarios often involve international carriers and Gulf airports as well.

Airblue Baggage Policies
Domestic Flights (Pakistan)
Airblue's domestic baggage allowance is 20–30kg checked (depending on fare class) plus 7kg carry-on. For delayed domestic bags, Airblue aims to deliver within 24 hours. Contact the baggage department at the departure airport if the bag isn't delivered within 24 hours.
International Flights (UAE, Saudi Arabia)
Airblue's international routes to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Jeddah follow the Montreal Convention for passenger rights. If your bag is delayed or lost on an international Airblue flight, you are entitled to reimbursement for reasonable emergency purchases. Airblue follows the 21-day declaration rule for officially lost bags.

The Dubai Transit Issue
A large percentage of Airblue's international passengers connect through Dubai. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is one of the world's busiest airports, and Terminal 2 (used by Airblue) handles an enormous volume of budget airline passengers. Lost bags at DXB are common during connections.
If your bag was lost during a Dubai transit:
- File a PIR with Airblue at your final destination airport in Pakistan
- Also contact Dubai Airports Lost & Found: +971-4-224-5555
- If the bag was transferred to another airline at Dubai, you may need to contact that airline separately
- Airblue's Dubai office: +971-4-220-6000
