  • Food and water bowls — stainless steel, not plastic (easier to clean, no bacterial buildup)
  • Dog/cat food — ask vet for brand recommendation (Royal Canin, Hills, or local brands)
  • Bed or crate — dogs should be crate-trained from day 1
